Departures Rubber manufacturers head to retire Charles Cannon will retire as CEO of the $7M-revenue Rubber Manufacturers Association at the end of the year. Cannon became CEO of RMA in 2008 after spending three months as interim CEO. He previously was manager of Cannon Consultants, CEO for Land Mine Detection Systems and co-founder and VP for New Product Development Consortium, a venture capital consortium. He has a Ph.D. in history from Stanford University. RMA has created a search committee to find Cannon's replacement.
